i couldnt:D

crept into work, got there just before 0730, the roads on to the estate were clear of traffic.

one tug of the handbrake had it sideways onto and off the first roundabout. had some embarrassing epic understeer at the first big left, but a tug on the handbrake had me neatly sideways into the carpark. my normal space had been pinched so followed the lane down.. sod 3 point turns today, a bit more handbrake action saw a near perfect 180* turn

popped out during the day to abuse a local tesco carpark and then a bit more playing about on the huge empty spaces on the industrial estate

the snow should be gone by the morning but at least you wont have another full day of girls in the office almost crying about how nervous they are when its a bit slushy on the road

nothing beats sliding around in snowy carparks imo :D

tbh, slush can be worse than snow, especially if it's on a thin layer of ice..

a lot of the roads were untreated on the way in with a nice covering of snow. if it looked uncertain a stab of the pedals gave you an idea of what you were dealing with so you could drive at the right speed.

on compacted snow on a 70mph road i was creeping along at 30-35 with nutters wizzing past at 60odd.

not my idea of fun really. its not a nice moment when you find out exactly how much moment a car has when you have almost no friction between you and the road

Taking the mick is why snow sticks so well on car parks :D

I took advantage of the snow today to enter my car park at the lock stop somewhere near the limiter :D

Of course, that nearly backfired when I ran out of space to come to a stop and then very nearly drove through the wall...

i actually LOLd at that one. i did run out of space on a b road lastnight at about 5mph with epic understeer. luckily it was only a tiny 1 inch curb not a wall

Its always fun to try some handbrake fun in empty car parks when its been snowing, one of the best ways to learn what it feels like to slide and how to react if it happens out on the road.

well the best way would be to unsettle car with the scandinavian flick rather than the handbrake ;)

but i would recommend it for learning basic control on snow

Spent last night in a big carpark. I'm good at drifting my FWD car now ;) Helped to know how to control it on the roads too with a nice combination of throttle/brake/handbrake for tight bends etc. All good fun if you're careful :)

Lots and lots of fun to be had today. I love how the daring drivers take the sideroads, and you can see it in each others eyes; "Yes, yes this makes sense to me, I am Sebastien Loeb, today I am Sebastien Loeb". :D:D:D

I want to go out and have some fun, but my road is pretty bad at the moment, so don't want to risk it :(

Must admit Im pretty scared of going out tonight. Ive seen countless RWD cars sliding back down the road scraping down the curb :(

I tried on the way home.. down a deserted country lane. Until I realised it had been untreated and was just solid ice  It was so slippy, you could yank the steering wheel from left to right and keep going straight.

Some complete **** was doing donuts in the car park at our local vets though.. about 1mtr from my car... not impressed
