Grand Theft Auto 4

I had that yesterday, but then a few hours after it worked fine. Now live logs me in automaticly as soon as I start the game.
 
I dont have MSN installed. Im sure theres a way to turn it off somehow, that sucks if you have to be logged onto MSN to play the game online.

Well no you don't...But I don't have my msn set to log me in when I open it up....

If I then set the game to log me into Live automatically, it sets the msn to log in automatically, as that is run via microsoft Live :)
 
Is it just me or do weapons do absolutely no damage beyond a certain range? barring sniper rifles.

Its just as if the bullets disappear after x range.

I guess its okay for handguns, but with the M4 I couldnt hit someone who was sat on the bench a little ways down the road.

Maybe you could try adding these commands to your game shortcut:

-norestrictions and/or -nomemrestrict ;)
 
They're already on there :) No reason why, as I can't up the setting's anyway as the game would slow down too much.
 
help out here a bit im i have choice to kill Dwain or Playboy X nether of them are appealing characters to me witch one to kill ?
 
Dwayne is handy, get him to like you enough and you can call for backup, two of his 'homies' will help you on missions and shoot at cops when your wanted without raising the actual level. Ideal for the Police Wanted missions aswell.

How about, turn your auto save off, and do one of them, if you don't like the outcome, re-load the old save and go from there.

As long as you had an auto safve not long ago though obviously :p

I had to restart my game the other day due to a new install....and I decided to go the opposite route as I did last time....I quickly re-loaded and did it the original way, because it just seemed absoloutely pointless doing it differently.

Obviously you have no idea what I am on about, as I'd rather not go about saying what does what :p

You mean theres actually a purpose to being friends with people?! I thort it was just there to annoy the hell out of you. Gave up trying to impress Michelle and never did get round to sleeping with her before.... well, I wouldnt want to spoil it for you.

Michelles easy to bag really.

And apparently yes, being friends with people does help eventually, but you have to keep them happy obviously.

yes...

kiki - lose wanted level
carman - health boost (dosn't always work)
jacob - cheaper guns/armor (that he sells from car + he comes to you... well 'near' you)
roman - free taxis

those are the main ones there are more, as for Michelle, not really worth the bother (i could explain but it would be a spoiler)
