broken indicator stalk on my mk3 mondeo :o

hi all,

being a muppet i've actually managed to snap off the indicator stalk on my mk3 mondeo. Its snapped off at the base I am just wondering how I would be able to replace this.

I've thought of superglue but that wont really do I think and it would require me to be holding it in place all night.

yeah thanks... though I just found a guide on the fordmondeo forums with pictures on how to replace it, should have looked there first really! Well anyway if Ford are going to charge me for replacing it I will tell them no thanks and do it myself now!

The boob bit was a joke, she just went to the nearest indy garage, it was raining pretty hard and it was the wiper stalk that had broke. She was obviously quite worried as she'd had to drive with no wipers and they fixed it all in about 10minutes for her.

If you are looking to do it on the cheap it may be best to try and source the part off ebay or somewhere then mate, although i am sure it wont be too bad at ford, they are unlikely to be the cheapest place.
 
does anyone know on the off change how much a ford dealer would charge for a new mk3 indicator stalk . I've seen one on the bay for £15 so if that is a lot cheaper I would obviously be inclined to wait a couple of days and go for that.
