Ok, me and a few of our mates are looking to book a holiday for June this year. We're all around 19-20 and would like to go somewhere hot and with a good night life. Now I've been looking at package holidays for the last couple of days, which include a lot of resorts in Spain. Theres too many to choose from basically and i would like your recommendations of where we could go. Whilst we like clubbing etc. we don't really want to go to Ibiza because it just seems to be full of chavs. So any suggestions? Doesn't have to be Spain as long as it has decent weather during June. Hotel recommendations are also appreciated (We're mainly looking at 4 star hotels - all inclusive).

Thanks in advance

Edit - Could a Don please correct my spelling mistake in the title?

Tenerife - Playa de las Americas ... good nights out and not too expensive. Plus it is really hot and the beaches are nice too. Theres a sports bar called linekers and it has an amazing atmosphere! Hed Kandi opening party was also a quality night :) there is a hooters between las americas and los cristianos too which has really nice food (walking distance). I went in June 08 for 2 weeks and it was ace. x

playas is a dump, trust azab to recommend there!
ibiza is a much better place :]

I didn't dislike Las Americas and there are certainly lots of bars there. Los Gigantas and Los Christianos are both within walking distance if you want something a little more peaceful.

Aya Napa, at least when you've had enough hedonism you've got a nice island to explore, it'll be bloody hot too, hire a car when you get there, cost about £40 for a week once they realise you are not german.

Ibiza aint full of chavs. Obviously there are some there, but the place is too awesome to even notice.

Although with crap exchange rates, i wouldnt go now. it would cost a bomb

Mar Menor (little sea or small sea) is a salty lagoon, in the south-east of the autonomous Community of Murcia, in Spain, separated from the Mediterranean sea by a sand bar 22km in length and with a variable width from 100 to 1200m. It belongs to four municipalities: Cartagena, Los Alcazares, San Javier & San Pedro del Pinatar.

With a surface area of nearly 170km², a coastal length of 70km, and warm and clear water which does not exceed 7m in depth, it is "the largest swimming pool in the world" according to the opinions of the famous swimmer and Hollywood actress Esther Williams. Its relatively high salinity, which aids floatation, and remarkable sporting infrastructures make this one of the most popular places in Europe for the practice and training of all kinds of water sports.

Given this is where I spend a lot of my spare time,(Los Alcazares in my case) I could hardly say anywhere else!

Make sure you get a hire car, plenty of night life within a short drive. :)

The complete opposite of what you have said is true. Las Americas is a complete dump and it's ridiculously expensive. €6-7 for a bottle of beer and although it's cheaper to drink vodka, it's watered down so much that you need about 40 measures to get you tipsy.

Linekers is full of chavs and Hooters is a dump. Los Cristianos is a nice spot although a bit quiet.

I went in July for 6 days and by the 4th day I was on the phone for hours trying to book earlier flights home.
