going to start my 1st water cooling project tonight.

got everything i need and have cleaned the rad out already thanks to some good read's on here.

will take photo's of before and if there is a after for you photo hungry folk here.
 
Just take your time - my first build went wrong as I was too eager to get it filled and didn't check the fittings properly.

I ran the system overnight and found the fluid completely drained out and siezed the pump.

Check, double check and triple check.
Hope your doing a 24hr leak test before!
The clips/drives are hard to get to the right tightness, but not to overtighten!
 
all done and no problem's.

had to put the rad on the outside and will post some pictures once ive finished tidying the case up.

got my temp's down to 18c on both core's.

used to be 30c on my tuniq tower.

does it really make a difference ?

ive got 2 140mm fans on the roof which pull heat out and a 200mm fan on the side which also pull's hot air out.

Hmmm, won't make a large difference, but personally I'd do it for neatness and efficiency :)

i do have to put some fan guard's on soon and will tidy the cable's up and change the fans around
