6 weeks to go

Very nice!

I watched a 'Mega Factories' documentary on Discovery the other night and it was all about how they made the Ferrari 599. I was quite amazed at the level of craftsmanship and detail that all the employees goto to make the car what it is. The factory itself is state of the art - the engine works have trees growing inside to provide the best and most natural levels of humidity for the alloys used.

As for the color, personally I think the 599 looks best in the dark grey with yellow calipers, like this one. But then if I was to buy my own Ferrari I am not sure I could choose anything other than red!

So have Ferrari adjusted their prices in light of the current economic climate or are most 599 buyers not bothered by such things as credit crunches? ;)

WHAT? Why did you get rid of the Porkum?
Tricky one that. I had a 997 Turbo Tiptronic which is a little faster accelerating than the manual. It was in for a service and I borrowed a C4S Cabrio with a manual box and preferred the driving experience. Moral of the story - don't believe the hype.

Nice car though but build quality not good enough for a £100K+ motor.

Did the new Ferrari California not interest you, the California has a much more up-to-date interior with the Sat Nav screen, etc..?

At least with this 599 you'll keep BP and Shell's profits up with frequent petrol visits lol :p
