Noctua NF-S12 and P12?

I have seen these about but wondering which is the newer/better?

Noctua NF-S12 1200RPM

Or are the NF-P12 different?

The P12 one has a better fan, it gets higher static pressure so better suited for blowing through dense heatfins, so I'd go for that one if I were you.

Yeah P12 for usage on heatsinks while S12 are slightly quieter they are really only designed for usage as case fans.
