alright guys,

quick question, looking at getting a new 24" samsung monitor + a xbox 360 premium under finance. no questions as to why under finance please :)

anyone know where would do that?

may as well explain, someone i know has buggered there credit rating up and is in need of a slow and progressive way to get them back on track. i have suggested a cheap finance which wont blow the bank every month on repayments but will help with their credit rating.

i would have gone to OCUK but they are out of stock on the 360's :(

didnt know argos offered finance :S

I personally wouldn’t buy something this small in value on finance, can you not save up for a few weeks?

Anyway, every major retailer does finance Argos, Comet, Currys etc... They all do it.

/Edit, didn’t see your explanation sorry! :D Seems okay if it’s to get back on track..

I'd say being responsible on a credit card for general use (regardless of rate) would probably be better than buying things you don't need on finance.

do ocuk still do 12monhs free interest? although there is a £40 fee.

Yes they do, 6 or 12 months. No interest as long as it's payed in full.

hmmm, good advice guys. no its not me, a member of family who is trying to sort her life out as she wants to move out pretty soon.

she wants to buy the above items anyway as she has been wanting them for a while, so thought it would be a good oppertunity anyway :)

:) Sure you don't want a brand new car on finance too? You will need it to get to your job, hell it will practically pay for itself. Don't worry about the devaluation, it's only someone else's borrowed money you are ****ing up a wall :p

lol, muppets, should have expected a bunch of childish tarts replying. oh well

and no, she is not selling my pc, i sold it for extra cash before xmas to get pressies!
