Out of date chicken

Check it isn't slimy, green or smelly, if not them you may want to chance it. Me personally, I wouldn't, anything else yes but chicken and pork can be really iffy.

Fish is much more iffy than Chicken. I know quite a few people who have eaten fish that's 1-2 days out of date and been really really sick.

Chicken? 1 day I would chance it, after that, nah. You should just stick it in the freezer a day before it goes off, then defrost whenever you need it tbh.

I attempted to defrost sausages yesterday and ended up with half frozen, half cooked crap. I put the remains in the fridge after cooking two of them and decided to cook the rest today. I'll report back if I see the sausages coming out of my mouth in a few hours time.

Do you really think that a piece of chicken 'goes off' at midnight of the 'use by' date printed on the packaging? If it smells and looks OK I'd have no problem eating it.
