Do you take vitamin supplements?

Not at all. No scientific evidence of Vitamin C helping with illness either.

Interesting article.

Placebo effect?

For the record, I take a multivitamin tablet every couple of days because they contain 100% of the RDA for all the stuff in it. Thought it best not to take daily because of this. Only really take them because my diet when I'm in uni consists of pizza and beer :(

Well, yeah, it is likely there is going to be some placebo effect. What the article is mainly concerned about is the manufacturing and exaggeration of conditions which can only be avoided by the use of pills.

The way I see it is that some cultures have a very limited diet and yet do not seem to suffer from defects of vitamins. Traditional Inuit, for example.

I am mainly veggie although I do occasionally eat fish. I like my veg so I am kind of lucky.
