Gaining muscle mass on legs

Not DOMs is not always a clear-cut sign that you're not developing muscle, you don't "need" DOMs to have developed muscle or strength, however it does feel good! :D

Yeah it's tricky, sometimes I feel robbed if I've done a really hard work out and can still walk the next day! However, I think you can still 'feel' it, even if it's not DOMS as such and that helps to keep me feeling like I'm developing.

If you want a detailed explanation on how to perform a correct squat then get a copy of 'starting strength' by Mark Ripptoe, they are so easy to do wrong. It also has all the information on the other most important barbell exercises. I think a few videos of him coaching are on youtube.
