I'm a delivery driver for ASDA, Just turned in today only to be sent home with full pay due to the snow. They said it was an act of god, I say "let it snow, let it snow, let it snow" :D

Anyone else got the day off?

Lucky sod, kick back and chill!

I'm at work and a lot of people are working from home. Unfortunately us students can't do that :(
 
Didnt go in, no point in risking it. Working from home, but doesnt mean I cant go outside for a bit! :p

My boss emailed in to say he was working from home, I emailed back to tell him I'm in, he said thanks for the info, I was expecting the jesus pic :p
 
Uni is shut today! Would only of had one lecture though and was wanting to travel home today so not all good :(
 
I'm one of the few people who made it to the office to work. People are coming in slowly but hardly anyone is here. I feel like I've missed my chance to stay at home!

Boss rang me this morning to tell me to work from home today, which I'm happy with. I'm VPN'd into the office and as you can see, I'm working very hard :D

:mad: Gutted.

This is what I want to be doing & cannot even see my car as it is buried by snow :(
You should see the state of it under there with all the grey salt crap, Proper bothering me it is :p
 
I'm at work, drove in from Milton Keynes to Northampton..... Had to dig the car out a little, just taking my time out of the estate once on the main roads it was fairly plain sailing...

I guess I could have stayed at home, but I've also got a home in Northampton, so push comes to it, I can always kip there tonight..... Must admit, after seeing how few had got in, and most local I did feel like I'd really made the effort, and my boss was grateful...
 
had an interview today but all trains were delayed or cancelled. The next train that was supposed to turn up broke down and caused a back log of trains and then when one did turn up it took them 10 mins to fix a critical fault with that one too. finally was on my way on a slow train and got a phone call saying it had been cancelled as the interviewer couldnt make it :(
