Hey guys! Well its time again for another groovy welsh getaway for all you hip young go getters (im going for a 60's pep talk theme, too much?)!
Anyway things have pushed on a little late this year and with the recent snowy weather feb has obviously been ruled out. Im looking toward the end of march maybe early april or even late april if we have to.
Dates possible
Weekend of
March 27
April 3
April 17
April 24
Please register interest, i cant garauntee any date all i can do is pick the date that allows the most people to attend.
For those that haven't a clue what im on about heres the info....
---------------------------------------------
Those of you who came to the last, and very successful LAN out here in west wales will know the form but please read through the guidlines that im about to put down as there are a few rules/prerequisites for the good of everyone.
For those of you who didnt come to the last or read the last thread through, this LAN is organised at a hotel in west wales (www.highcliffehotel.co.uk) where we get prerty much free run of the place with tailored LAN centric menu's and mealtimes as well as a very late bar
The event is set up in a moderate sized resteraunt area (although we are organising for overspill into another room if necessary this coming event) you will have network and internet access throughout.
There will be distinct competitions at certain time this time around, to appease those who disliked the 'free-for-all' nature of the last event. The days will be divided with friday remaining a relaxed meet-and-greet day and gaming proper beginning saturday AM (although more like 12pm knowing most of you!)
First the must haves - You MUST meet these criteria to book, please email me if you have any queries.
Be over 18 years of age.
Have your own console (360's are the choice at these but others including PC will be fine)
Bring a TFT monitor OR pre-organise to borrow one at the event
Bring headphones, there will only be one setup that uses speakers and that will be the main screen)
Be able to afford your room and piles of food and beer
Be able to pay a deposit in advance
If you can meet all the above then you are more than welcome, other LAN goers from here were more than helpful to each other the last time so i can only imagine that any problems you have can be solved by someone, ask around!
Now for the cost, same deal as last time -
Sharing rooms = £15 per person per day
Single rooms = £20 per person per day
This includes rudimentary brekkie of toast tea and coffee for those that get up before noon. Bacon eggs etc available from the kitchen at additional cost a little later in the day. All meals and drinks at discounted rates £10 or so should get you through a day food wise another 10 on booze will prolly suffice depending on your persuasion.
There will be the chance to win some meals/drinks in game contests and also a grand prize of some kind for an overall champ in an as yet to be arranged contest.
Deposits of £10 required from all attendee's before confirmation, deductable from your stay.
Questions comments etc post here or email me [email protected]
deposits can be made via paypal to [email protected] from now until the event spaces allowing however we expect a high uptake this time as most of those from the last one want to return and plenty others now want a go! It will be first come first serve based on deposit confirmations, so no begging whinging or crying if you book late!
Im on MSN sometimes on my contact email (not the paypal one that is for PAYPAL ONLY)
Cant Wait To See You all There!!!
