Killzone 2 Demo - First impressions

I think it's more to do with HDD use, downloads certainly pause when I'm using PlayTV, which is probably to do with the buffer. I'll be switching the buffer off tonight.
Killzone 2 > Rewinding live TV

I did say earlier in the thread it'd be really short; apparently it's a public demo that was at some expose, so they would have never made it very long.
 
Wow having a lot of fun with this...rp2000 how do you find the aiming? gotta admit im struggling a little...does seem a little sluggish...will play with the sensitivities a little....but yes looks exactly like the vids already released.

AVIs are fine as you can still access the XMB while playing em, DVDs completely disable the XMB and disconnect your PS3 from the net last i checked. When the PS3 first came out it did allow net access while playing a DVD but it caused stuttering issues when upscaling so they disabled it.

Very short demo but its dam good. I found the controls a little sluggish too but i upped the sensitivity which seemed to help a lot. I have to say, the sound effects are truely incredible, the gun fight in the warehouse, omg! Definitely keeping my pre-order.

Nudged both axis 2 notches. Playing second time now.

To get the best connection you should make sure your nat is type 2.
You can check under network settings, internet connection test.

I was downloading at 2300kb/s stable earlier and now I'm struggling to get a 1.3Gb demo, I wish they'd sort out this VM + PSN thing already it's just depressing, it'll probably take around 2 hours when I've downloaded some stuff 6x bigger than this in half the time. :(

yes noticed that when i fired it up...improving zxis sensitivities seemed to help a little...am so used to call of duty controls think ill have to remap them for this...warehouse is pretty damn good :)
