Get the tinfoil hats out

Why would one need a tin-foil hat? Given the sheer number of Galaxies and Stars out there the idea that intelligent life has evolved elsewhere in the Universe isn't a bloody conspiracy theory.

Sometimes I wonder if there's intelligent life here, let alone out there.

Very true, maybe we should be looking for it here before anywhere else!!!

Really???

The current research estimates that there are at least 361 intelligent civilisations in our Galaxy and possibly as many as 38,000.

I could have told them that just by looking up!

if there wasn't other life out there then it's a huge waste of space. simple.

The universe itself keeps on expanding and expanding,
in all of the directions it can whizz,
As fast as it can go, at the speed of light you know,
twelve million miles a minute, and that's the fastest speed there is.
So remember, when you're feeling very small and insecure,
how amazingly unlikely is your birth,
And pray that there's intelligent life somewhere up in space,
because there's bugger all down here on Earth.

Because it can stop the alien from telepathically controlling you, just in case you meet one. Although some people say it doesn't have to be tin foil ...

The downside is you look like a **** wearing it all the time, but I guess there would be no change there ? :p
