MOTHERBOARD FOR £100-£150

Biostar as recommended above, or a P5Q variant depending on what you need. A P5Q Pro is generally enough for the average user.

Dont know much about the biostar, but i hear its pretty good. Alternatively the p5q pro or e variants are good boards. I own the deluxe which is a fantastic board, but i dont think i would go for one now due to the hefty price tag on it theese days.

id spend a tenner more and get the asus p5q deluxe
just look at the reviews

The deluxe is £45 more....

I say go with the biostar, i got mine today, not had chance to set it up yet but its very well made and is PACKED with features. and its meant to be a overclockers dream at a amazingly cheap price...says PC gamer :p

As good as asus boards are some of the newer ones have had problems with the north and south birdges after quite a lot of use.
someone said to me on here that the biostar comes with just as many features as the deluxe but priced at the pro.

so yeah, go for the biostar :D

@OP You've not stated which socket you need i.e. i7 (1366) vs C2D (775) Boards already mentioned are very good for C2D but are not compatible with i7.

What do you want to put in it :D ...C2D/C2Q, Phenom, I7 ? ...I'm guessing not an I7 as you coming in too cheap for a good I7 board.
