Hi,
I actually prefer the ps3 pad to the xbox 360's and was wondering if there was such an adapter in circulation? I haven't come across anything on the regular games sites. If not i was thinking of getting a pad that was similair to the ps3 pad like the saitek px3200.
Any thought's or opinions on the various third party controller pads out there?
cheers,
steve.

The D-Pad on the 360 pads is absolutely dire :(

I need a ps2 > 360 adapter

dpad on the 360 seems fine for most things, its not the best though and is a let down when it comes to fighting games. putting me off street fighter 4 unfortunately.

apart from that though the xbox pad is superior in every way, my hands hurt if i play on the ps3 to long.

hehe i know, never thought i'd say it myself! but i have grown to like the ps3 pad better.
I can't find anything on google except an adaptor for using the xb360 pad on a ps3 :(

@muzzler

Ah, so I'm not the only one ;)

I do recall seeing a third party controller which offered the best of both worlds as the D-pad and Left stick were interchangable... can't remember who made it though - soz!

Exactly what I wanted it for xD

Menus n stuff its fine, actually playing a game, dont think I could :(

The PS2 pad for me has been the bet weight/size while since its release, the xbox pads are good but I dont rate them that highly.

joebob,
That saitek one mentioned has the changeable d- pad. i might just take the gamble and order one!

Unfortunately though the D-pad looks similar to the style on the 360's pad.

I might actually get one for my PC though as most PC games these days are setup for the 360 pad and display the (A)(B)(X)(Y) button etc in instructions and what not.
