Hi i bought one of those ipod thingys to connect to my car stereo, it works on FM radiowaves but when using it the frequencys it uses (it has 4 presets) are taken by pirate radio stations (i live in london) and i cannot listen to the ipod.

do they work for you? are they awfull and should i buy somthing better?

i dont want to replace the hu in my laguna as it has the steering wheel controls and is linked to the satnav and when the car talks to me it comes out of the stereo.

Thanks

Dude.

You should be able to get an adapter that goes into the CD changer ISO slot in the standard headunit. They're usually about £70 but will require you to remove the head unit to fit and you'll need to route the cables somewhere. They will still charge the unit and some allow you to control the ipod from the standard controls too.

Just off a random search. The kits are usually Connects 2.
