I'm glad so many people here share my point of viewIt will definately be funny if the advert is banned as they cannot prove their claim.
I don't generally come down heavily on the side of the religious, it's just generally the religious contingent don't give as scope for evaluation of their views. Most religious people on here won't try and convert you, claim their view is somehow better than everyone elses etc. Many of the atheists here and will do both of those, and be insulting to anyone who doesn't share their views.
When we've had christians etc behaving in the same way, I've called them on it and given them the same critical analysis of their viewpoint, but most theists (on here) accept their beliefs to be just that, most atheists (on here and in the media) want to claim it's something more than just their belief, despite the fact that critical analysis doesn't support such a stance.
That's a question I wonder about myself, and why it seems so important to some to convert everyone else to their way of thinking.
The atheists cannot provide supporting evidence for their campaign either, even enough to get around it with the probably. There's simply no supporting evidence either for or against, and hence it comes down simply to the assumptions of those on either side.

they can come back and defend there viewss
I swear someone on the first few pages links to them starting the whole thing... I may be wrong though.
But the atheists aren't explicitly saying that something is or isn't real. All they say is that "god may not exist"
the already have plenty of evidence in the form of arguments, discussions etc that help to prove this point more then the existence of god.
If anything the atheists have put forward more of an agnostic point of view which may seem strange, but is at the end of the day something that cannot really be debated due to it being both for and against.
They say "God probably doesn't exist", which is in no way backed up by evidence. They might have softened the blow with "probably", but on an unestable claim it's innefective.
I'm not sure anything they have could be called evidence for the nonexistence of god. It's merely conjecture and opinion.
I agree here. It's pretty odd that as atheists they've backed off from what they truly believe, and claimed that their faith is only "probably" true.![]()
The guy responsible for the ads has always said that there is almost definetley no god, not that there is definetley no god. Atheism isn't a faith either.
i personally dont like the way they put "so join the christian party, and enjoy your life" that is prob what annoyes me more than stating there is a god....
Good point - because if there's one thing over 2000 years of history have taught us it's that Christians keep their crusades to themselves[...] but none of them come close to how much atheists have rammed things down my throat
Pathetic, and where's their proof?
