Band Of Brothers on blue ray

I have got Band Of Brothers on dvd but wanted to know if there be much of improvement getting it on blue ray? maybe some one with it on blue ray could help ?

Ive got both mate, im only watching at 720p via my PS3 and i can defiantly see and hear a difference. Its amazing, and such a great series aswell, get it!

hummm sounds good just need a blue ray player now or ps3 something i was going to get anyway, anyone know of any decent bundles on ps3 atm?

Try to find some cheap 40gb deals at gamestation, or check over at avforums here http://www.avforums.com/forums/ps3/926680-best-ps3-console-deals-part-2-a-2.html

I picked mine up last year for £210, ive upgraded the HD to 320Gb and got a remote, really sweet bit of kit

Onkyo TXSR606 Black

PS3 80gb for blue ray ?

Tannoy MERCURY F4 CUSTOM

Would all these work well together?
What would you change?

You may wanna remove the competitor links dude.

Also, i'll be the first to strongly recommend the Panasonic TH-37PX80 instead of that tosh. Or the 42" version for similar money. Unless you will be using it lots as a pc monitor the plasma is the best in it's size and price range.

PS3 is a great BD player (plus it's multitude of other features like media streaming, internet and even games) but there are somet very good players for less money now now so it depends what you need

I don't think he is saying the Toshiba is bad, but that he thinks the Panasonic TH-37PX80 is better. I have been looking at the TH-37PX80 too, but I am unsure, the 1024x768 resolution is off putting, but all the reviews say it is a good TV. Though I would maybe save for longer and get one of the TH-xxPZ80 range.

Yes, I meant Toshiba. But some people with less tact may call them tosh. I wont as i'm sure the newer LCD's are getting better but highly doubt it could be better than the px80

hahah i miss understood sorry, i liked the toshiba because of the res of the screen as i would be useing it as at pc monitor every now and again. i plan to play my music of my pc then into the av amp then speakers would it sound any good coming off a mini jac ?

we got it on bluray for under 30quid over xmas. Great to watch at tea time (student house

) looks fantastic on our 46inch sharp aquos/ps3 combo. Id say a must for any blu owner.
