Pic: Your desk...RIGHT NOW

Just to the left of the desk is my pc in an antec 900 case but couldnt fit it all in the picture.

disclaimer: the horrendous curtains were not my choice, I'm in uni halls so these were provided for me :p

Need to get some cable tidies, I hate the look of loose cables but I've never bothered to sort it out :o

Nice Unite room there. Crap arent they.

get some liquid superglue (as opposed to gell) and put a TINY dab on the crack - it'll be drawn into the crack by capillary action. then hold the crack closed for about 5 minutes and it'll be nice and strong.

Something to do tomorrow cheers!

No matter how hard I try my phone keeps making these rubbish pictures if my monitors are in view, my room looks dark as hell in that pic but I actually have a 100w bulb lighting my room...

If you want to get a better pic turn the brightness down on the monitors quite low, the shot will be much better exposed over all.

Or when you auto focus the shot, aim it at a wall that is lit by the light bulb without the monitors in frame. Then move the monitors back into the frame and release the trigger. This should expose the shot correctly for the wall, and therefore the rest of the room, but it will most probably make the images on the monitors over exposed.

Tbh it'd be easier top nick my mums cam than to mess around with the brightness on 2 screens, I'll do this next time when my mums not asleep...

It adjusts brightness even after focusing, I mean I slightly press the button while aiming at the wall, beep focus done, move camera to monitors, and it darkens it out again...

Anyways I just pressed it hard to make a pic and quickly moved but it didn't work out, while bright, it was grainy as hell and blurry, I'll use a different camera when I can :).

Think he'd struggle to do it that way on a phone tbh, most phones dont have a 2 pressure shutter button or an exposure lock feature...

I have but it doesn't lock on iso modes, only on focus. It still adjusts iso mode after focussed...

Anyways, nicked my dads ancient HP camera and came out with these ( couldn't find my mums samsung cam or my dads N95 phone):

They look better. And your right thinking about it, the camera on my phone only has focus lock not exposure lock.

When did you get rid of your CRTs?
