A good day in the Peaks!

Hi all,

Was in the peaks today and took the camera along and came back with some photos that i really like and hopefully you do to.

Let me know what you think

1. Grinding stones at Stanage Edge

2. Sunrise at Stanage Edge

3. Some rocks Leading to the summit of Stanage Edge

1,2,3 & 7 are probably my favorite snow pictures posted on OcUK this past week.

Something about the contrast of thick snow on the dry looking bouldes/wooden reel thingy - that really works.

7 is a real nice shot, I think a re-crop taking away some of the bottom to bring the picture closer to obeying the 3rds rule will make a nice difference. At the mo, the picture is a little odd with 50% road 50% mountains/sky - feels akwards.

Just my 2p.

thanks all, its been one of my better days with the camera and really enjoyed it even though i wasnt dressed the best for the situation.

Again this is why i post, i edited these late at night so a 'third eye' is always appreciated.
