In the 1990s the cereal was sold in the United Kingdom, including Northern Ireland by Nestle, but is no longer retailed in any part of the UK, except in Selfridges in Birmingham, nor in the Republic of Ireland. The cereal did not contain the green clover marshmallow, presumable due to the association of clovers/shamrocks with Ireland and anti-Irish sentiment within the UK

If I remember right it was this "anti-irish sentiment" that lead to Nestle pulling them off the shelves altogether in the UK. I did read once that was the reason why too somewhere, but I can't find a source.

We tried to get them for our shop and were offered them for £7 per box wholesale. We declined.

use to be a place at Menwith hill that sold them not sure if they still do as am not dating my ex any more, they use to be dirt cheap

They are sold at selfridges in manchester too but they are too expensive,

I usually just get one of the little single serving pots that are £2.50

I'm sure it was more to do with the fact that they were so unhealthy for kids and there were lots of complaints.

Your basically marketing a cereal that all the kids want which is pure sugar.
