Are you saying that American english is better than English english?

If you are then that's exactly what we wanted you to think, we made the english language deliberately complicated for a giggle, just to confuse you Americans :D
 
'I could have went to the shop today', or 'I could have went to the shop today'. :confused:

It's not exactly hard to write "could've" rather than "could have" ..


And imo English is simpler than a number of European languages, as we don't have lots of genders for our nouns.

Maybe not but we have a hell of a lot of irregular verbs. Personally I always found French was easier to learn than English.
