Bolt 3D

def worth seeing. saw it today and was surprised as it was really good. the 3d is probably the worst 3d i have ever seen though, it comes across as though the 3d was an after thought, e.g. no standard 3d moments like stuff coming right at you, water spat in your face etc etc. certainly worst seeing thats for sure.

Odeon (as well as most cinema chains) are spending quite a bit of cash on 3D technology. There are about 15 3D releases this year.

Thats cool, unfortunately i live in the west end of newcastle and lack a car. Might have to abuse a mate for 3D action :p
 
only animated films will look really good in 3d imo

My Bloody Valentine had way too many out of focus objects (they appeared twice instead of once)

This was perfect, the 3d effects weren't over the top, they were subtle and added to the mood of the film.


Great movie, enjoyed it more than Wall E (although Wall E is better)

Went to see it today in the end, first 3D movie for me and thought it was cool. Cannot wait until Ice Age 3 (3D) comes out :). From the preview quite a few new animation films in 3D coming out.
 
Saw it in 2D a few days ago and its gotta be the best animated film ive seen. Would love to go see it again in 3D now, just to see what all the fuss is about !

honesnlty the 3d isn't that great and def not worth going to see the fiml again for that alone. i never really noticed any 3d in the film which is why i said above i thought it was an after thought. may be wrong but there was not one scene where a typical 3d effect happened like something coming straight at the screen. it's like watching toy story 3d, may make it look slightly better but it isn't really a 3d film. however the story was good so worth seeing again.

wish odeon didn't charge so much extra for 3d.

i saw War of the Worlds in there, would have preferred to see it on a mobile phone, probably better picture & sound :/

The idea of the new 3D movies is not to be as gimmicky bar a few, they are meant to add depth, James Cameron's Avatar when it's released should be an excellent example of this.
 
Watched it tonight...

I must say, the 3D-ness was pretty poor.. not a lot about it was 3D tbh!

Had more 3D in the trailer of Ice Age 3!! and some Cars trailer

Nevermind though, quality film :)

8/10!
 
I saw it last night, NOT in 3d, and I loved the film! :)

I need to see a 3d film, but the cinemas here still don't have it grrr!
