TBH, only chavs spend that quantity of money on clothes.

I visit the petrol station wearing:
-No hat.
-£5 t-shirt from ASDA.
-£3 Jeans from ASDA.
-£15 dark coloured trainers from ASDA.

And I've never had to pay 1st when filling a 5 litre (yes, you can figure out what it will cost from this) can for the mower.

For bonus points, if you have to pay 1st, pay for the 5 litres the can claims to hold, then go out and put the 5.5 litres the can actually holds in.

Not quite true though, not everyone wants to look like they just raided the Asda home living section but you're mostly right. Providing you at least look presentable it doesn't matter how much they cost if it's station policy you are going to get barked at over the tannoy regardless.

You can't tell the jeans from £30 jeans unless you are looking at the leather patch (which mine don't have), and the shirts and shoes are suitably ambiguous. Not a fan of stuff with logos stamped all over.

Regardless, like I said it doesn't matter what you wear providing you're at least wearing something :p. It has next to no bearing at all on the reason as to why the manager asked James07 to pay first he was probably just following shop policy.

I'm not quite sure how the manager is presumed a 'scally' because of this either. I'd have just followed instructions and got on with life.

This thread is pathetic

Everyones taking what i said out of context and avoiding the op, thats what this whole forum is like dude, you not used to it yet?

Some people need to get a grip and understand that i was mearly saying that i looked smart and that i dont look like the kind of person who might steal £4 off petrol...

Looking smart is wearing a suit.
