This is a WHQL-candidate driver for GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, and 200-series desktop GPUs.

Boosts performance in several 3D applications. The following are examples of improvements measured with Release 182.05 WHQL drivers vs. Release 181.22 WHQL drivers (results will vary depending on your GPU, system configuration, and game settings):
Up to 8% performance increase in Fallout 3 at high resolution and AA.
Up to 10% performance increase in F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin
Up to 9% performance increase in Half-Life 2 at high resolution with AA.

anyone come across any problems with thsee yet? and have they fixed the screen fit and locked 4 bit colour? which was the problems i come across in the **** 181.22 drivers!

On XP running windows update and making sure you have latest version of SP2 (skip SP3) usually fixes this - not sure why...
 
These improve performance for me on my 295 @ 2560x1600. Fallout 3, Mass Effect, and Oblivion now all run great with 4xAA + 16xAF at that res. Used to run out of graphics memory before, but somehow that dont happen anymore with these drivers.

GTA4 will now play smoother but had a few graphical issues such as texture popping and the occasional missing texture. Fine with fallout3, Tf2, l4d and crysis though.

Interested to here what your screen fit issues are as i am having an issue aswell
 
Definitely smoother gameplay for me in GTA4, though perhaps a slight loss in IQ, it's hard to tell.

Seem perfectly stable so far.
