Ok, so I've been thinking about modding this case for some time now mainly to sort out the damn cable management flaws! However, after speaking with a friend - he has offered me in the region of £50-£60 for my case. Now, it's just under a year old so im thinking that it's quite reasonable (might be able to get it up a bit yet :p) but im just wondering what to do.

Ideally, im looking for a case that has brilliant airflow, has a window as most of my stuff is LED inc. mb, and looks good! So, do I do what i originally thought and spray the chassis black + mod it.. or accept the £60 and buy a new case?

If I bought a new case, what would you recommend for say - £100 give or take?

Over to you OCUK'ers

Personally I don't think I could replace my 900 at the moment, well if I was looking to replace it for another case with a window. There just isn't anything that looks good and has got everything I look for in a case.

Considering a Lian Li A05B, A07B, 7B, B25B, Silverstone TJ09B or Coolermaster Stacker 832. The only problem being the last 3 are a bit over your budget and not all of the ones listed come with a side window. But just though I'd through a few ideas on there.

mmm yeah, I was looking at that but im thinking I should go for a change from Antec :p as personally I think the 1200 and 900-2 are a bit ugly lol

I'm modding mine at the moment, cut a fair few holes in it ready for the cable routing, i'm spraying the inside and best part of the outside (all the bear metal parts) white.
and am going to put new feet on the bottom because I have cut a fan hole for the PSU in the bottom of the case! this will give it a nice stand off to let air in.

Might put some Lian Li wheels on it ? not sure yet!
The only pain at the moment I have are the PWR switch reset SWT and led cables are to short. and I'm not sure if the audio, usb and the 1333 < whatever its called are a little on the short side as well.
Time will tell I guess?
If your interested let me know and I'll point out some pics when I post them up

Loving my P182, very clean, quiet, cool and great design. Was torn between that and the 900 at the time, glad I got the P182 tbh, a lot easier to live with.

IMO all the antecs 300/900/1200 look very chav.

Bradley I see your using a Lian-li V350, Now the antec cases may look a little 'chav' as you say but on the upside they dont require extensive modifications to run at sensible temperatures , Unlike the case that you are using. So obviously the word 'chav' Now has a new meaning........ COOL.
Now the antec 900 isnt perfect BUT if you are prepared to do a few modifications It really does turn into a Great case and runs very very cool

I SAY MOD IT ! :) BUT if you do fancy a cleaner look with what I think is similar specification to the 900 how about this case http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-161-CM&groupid=701&catid=7&subcat=29 http://www.coolermaster.com/products/product.php?language=en&act=detail&tbcate=17&id=3927

If I was to buy another case for the price this would be top of list, at a later date you could buy the side window or mod your own

Having owned the 900 i can say that with a couple of mods it can run cool and look tidy.

Although if you want something that looks half decent, sell it and buy something decent as bradley said.

Buying StevenG's old G70 was prob the best PC related buy i have even made.
