Hello,

I've got one of these cases. My pc is watercooled with the rad in its own external box. I don't have an high powered graphics card (just a ATI 3650).

Just wondering if I really need all the fans on? I guess the front fan is needed to cool the hard drives but can I safely switch the others off? Just worried about frying the 8gb of RAM and other motherboard components with little or low moving air, but currently its a bit loud with all the fans going.

Its not overclocked, everything at stock (Q9550).

thanks

i have one of these cases too mate and just running on air (not water), the fans make a real racket of a sound, eh ?? like jumbo jet engine, lol.
I would love to be able to somehow set the bios or summit so that the fans slow right down when the system isnt under load, can i do this with the clocked cpu ?? and how do i do it if i can ?? its an i7 920 cpu which will be @ about 3.3ghz (once my new cooler comes), the motherboard is an msi x58 platinum.

p.s
i would love to know where we can by filters for those giant fans in that case, do you know ??

Depend what Mobo you have.If it support fan controll option in BIOS then fine you can do it.

But best way is go for fan controller.
Those fans at 500 rpm speed are very quiet and still with good air flow.

Find it strange people are finding the fans loud on this case. The loudest fan in mine is the Vortexx on my graphics card!

Download rivatuner to change all fan speeds? and you can set fan speeds to increase/decrease at certain temps
