I have no idea about the make of power supplies.. can you guys enlighten me, why not an ocz power supply ? if not the one ive chosen, which one ?

Guys i dont even do any of that stuff...

This setup is costing me basicaly the same as another setup i had ordered before.. and it was a two duo.. and a crappy board.

Beats me.

Still looking at power supplies, dont really want to push the boat out on a Hugely expensive one.

Budget is £900, Didnt get much response last night, oly from one or two, would like more advice from a greater range of people :]

tbh a Core2Dou/Quad system would be better suited for you as you do none of the things most do with an i7.

Spec you up one in a min.

What size is your monitor?

You could save about £200-£300 by going core2 duo/quad, which would be just as good as i7 for what your looking to do with the PC.

Something like the above would be good. Add a CPU cooler to it and get a decent overclock on the Q9550.

With the money saved get yourself a 4870 or gtx 260-216 (sell the 9800gt for a bit more cash aswell).

You could save even more money and go for an E84/500 dual core CPU, particularly if it's a gaming PC.

I'm now quite jealous, after reading two i7 upgrade threads :(

Spec looks good though, change the PSU !
