Odd /annoying "PC habbits" you have?

I only use my address bar for my favourite sites. Every other site, even if I know the address, goes through the google toolbar so it doesn't mess up my address bar history and make it look untidy :D

And of course, putting my favourite sites into 'favourites' would just be an extra button to click, total waste of my time...:p

When i turn my pc on and windows hasnt even loaded yet,i open paintshop, media player, msn bitcomet and anything else i want. . . only to be waiting even longer :(

I only allow a maximum of 4 icons on the desktop. Also, windows generally have to be maximised, or in the precise location of the screen (like firefox has to take up exactly half of the screen and finished perfectly at the edges!)
You'll like Windows 7 then: Drag to left or right edge - window size is changed to fill exactly half the screen.

(Also, drag to top to maximise. Shortcuts for all of these are Windows Button + Left Arrow/Right Arrow/Up Arrow).

When im reading things i always select and deselect the text very fast constantly.

Phate does this. It used to wind me up, not because I was reading it, but the constant mouse clicks were annoying!!

I'm relieved of it now I don't sit next to him any more... ;)

Saving/Dumping anything and everything to the desktop.

Eventually, I get fed up and just delete it all and start again :(

I do that, however if I install a program and it adds a shortcut to the desktop without asking me I'll delete it immediately out of principle :p

When thinking about something I'll go to the desktop and drag the mouse to draw boxes around icons etc, it drives everyone crazy.

I do this too but I tend to do it really quickly, one after another, on an area of screen with no icons in case I move or drag something somewhere and lose it!

Also, if there is anything more than My Computer and Recycle Bin on my desktop, it's messy.

This too... I sometimes turn off desktop icons altogeter and just have them on the shortcut bar at the bottom...

Oh and when shutting down I have to close all my applications manually first. For some reason I just can't let windows do it by itself.

Hoarding old files, even if I know I'll never need them again.

I've still got some school reports on my hard drive from the mid 90s that I have absolutely no need to keep, yet I still do.

I do so many of the things brought up, not good!

The most annoying thing that other people do though is use the left clicky button on a laptop, especially when scrolling and double clicking. We're not in the 80s any more, just flipping press the touch pad!!!! Or at least use the thumb on the same hand you're using to scroll, you look a complete plank using both hands on a touchpad...

I do this. Sometimes good for a laugh - an essay where you increased the font to 16, and it looks totally laughable. And the content really is quite laughable.

Cut, copy, paste, undo, CNTRL+X, +C, +V, +Z. Some old habits die hard.

I must have an empty recycle bin and no shortcuts on the desktop.
