Bar the odd good performance, this is typical England against good opposition. Run ourselves ragged trying to win the ball back from technically superior opposition. After a bucket load of sweat we finally get it back. Our possession then lasts 5 passes at the most before a hopeful long ball gives it back to the opposition without them having to break sweat. 
Not sure if you heard this but itv were thanking their spanish counterparts for providing the picture, ie - not their fault for the awesome quality. thats how i interpreted it anyway

Being optimistic arent we? I cant think of when we strung 5 passes together that didnt involve the CBs passing it to each other...Our possession then lasts 5 passes at the most before a hopeful long ball gives it back to the opposition without them having to break sweat.
