Anyone else a fan of this mode? I haven't touched single player yet as i have been too busy with GTA4 but played this with a mate last night and got to level 16 with 2 other random players online. Playing on 360. Whats the highest you've got to? Any tips or tactics you use? I heard a good tactic today from a housemate who plays on PS3...holding the stairs in the health room or something like that. Need to ask him again as he got to level 20. :)
 
Best tactic is to never go upstairs, go into the second room from the main room and then don't go anywhere else.

There's a random weapon box in there that costs (I forget how much) to use, keep spamming it until you get a laser pistol, this gun is one shot kill on the zombies, then simply keep the first room you were in covered, and have someone covering the windows in the new room you're in :)

I can't remember what level we got up to on PC, there was 4 of us (housemates on LAN) think it was 27? I might be wrong though.
 
This is much fun when playing with a friend. It's kind of annoying people have got to level 104,037 because they glitched in the walls. But it sure is fun. Highest we got to was level 14. Just the two of us.
 
Best tip Id say is to get into a corner, duck down and then get your mate to jump on your head, then stand up so youre aligned with him and then zombies cant touch you. Then you can get to level 10000. Which is just like the entire place is completely filled with zombies.

Me and my housemates are addicted to the Nazi Zombie mode :D Farthest we've got with just two of us is level 14 I think.

As Andelusion said, the best tactic (for two players anyway) is to get into the second room and have one covering the door, and the other covering the windows, all the while trying to get the laser pistol or machine guns.
 
i tend to stay down stairs till one of us gets the laser pistol or we get lots of machine guns.

I then go upstairs by the grenade refill.

From here they can only come through one window and one door to get to you.

Plus you can grenade them out the window, whilst they are in the field, so it takes them along time to crawl up to you. This allows you to fix windows and get new weapons etc...
 
Keep a weapon with a high clip capacity/fast firing speed too for when you get insta-kill, swap to this and pick them off carefully :)

When you get to level 20 you really need to save the laser pistol ammo, as you're lucky to get it more than once from the box.
 
Also, if you're in the random weapon room and someone's covering the door from the original room, bind 'reloading' to a key (or just have a mic) so that someone can take over, if they start getting in the room then you're pretty much screwed on the higher levels.

If one of your team members is using the random box then the zombies will also head straight for them when they enter the room so be careful :)
 
im addicted to the zombies too, only got it on PC.

There is a good tactic where you do open upstairs and leave the lower door locked.

If you have 4 people it is really easy to hold to 20+

Tacs are:

Dont open lower door
On lvl 5 try to keep last zombie alive (this will give you more time to get weapons and clr the path) just keep rebuilding with one at window.
Clr both barriers on stairs and keep trying for weapons (mg/rays best for holding bottom of stairs later)
When lvl 6 starts have 1 downstairs in helproom on windows/wall and 3 upstairs (have 1 standing by stairs leading up from original room)

On lvl 9 all fall back into help room

Then you would have 2 at bottom of stairs, 1 on wall and 1 covering windows. The important bit for the people at the bottom of the stairs is to stay center directly behind one another and do not move.

The one infront would crouch and 1 would stand directly behind him. This is the really important bit as you ideally want the zombies coming directly centre down the stairs. If you have people closer to the zombies, standing left or right they will drift off center making it a lot harder to headshot. Using the box and standing by it again can make the zombies drift off towards that person.

You basically are using the front guy as bait for the zombies, they will all run directly for him if he doesnt move. if anyone is closer on box or left or right, they will go towards them. They always go for the closest person.

The person standing on wall would help both the windows if getting overun or the stairs when the are reloading but his 1st job is always rebuilding wall.

The player on the windows just has to scoot between two windows keeping rebuilt.

If you have points to spend try to save the last zombie each round, either holding one at window/wall or running the last one around. This again gives loads of chances for everyone to get rays etc.
 
Get upto lvl 35 on PC quite often

Simple tactic of let them in early doors then get double points, Insta Kill etc. If you get an insta kill then just knife em. Build your points up and fall back to the back room.

If you are playing as 4 then the trick is 1 high powered sniper rifle standing between the two posts at the back of the room with 1 browning. Then your other two mates are looking after the back wall and windows.

Loose the crap guns like flamethrowers, trench guns etc after lvl 10 as they are useless. Once you get a laser, start spamming the box between rounds to see if you can get a second laser or high powered sniper rifle. The beauty of this gun is that upto about lvl 22, if you get your position right the zombies come for you and the door acts as a choke point. As such a headshot can take out about 5 or so dead heads in one shot. Above lvl 22 its one zombie only

Above lvl 15 or so you need to conserve ammo. So you need to make sure that you take it in turns with the two players on the sniper rifle and laser. As one empties his clip and reloads the other one then begins firing and vice versa. If you just try and shoot anything that moves you will waste a lot of ammo.
