So which case would be best please!

If you buy at least two extra 120mm fans for intake as the case only comes with a 140mm exhaust (top) fan and 120mm exhaust (rear) fan. Then it will be fine as far as cooling is concerned. Will be the same cooling as the antec 900 expect the top exhaust fan on a 900 is bigger and the 300 has dust filters (which is good). But like i said i would look at the 900 mk2 because it has all the perks of the other cases aswell as dust filters, fan controller on each fan, better interior for looks and cable management.

300 is a great budget case. Like Blackhawk47 said, buy an additional 2 front intake fans (mine are blue LED) and that will set up some nice airflow.

Check my sig, all running very cool.
Idle @ 33c & 30c (each core)
100% load (Prime & intel burn test) @ 55c both cores

Obviously given the choice you face yourself with, the "902" case is the better option as it is the biggest and the newest case.

get the standard 900 its a good £20 less and the only changes in the v2 are dust filters and the plastic facias

Cable management lets the 300 down for me.

For that reason alone i recommended the 900-2.

Like i said and at the time when i got the 300 (£30 - bargain), compared to other budget cases i had to choose from: akasa zen, coolermaster 330, etc. None of them had the cooling potiental and at least allowed cable management.

Antec 300 - Ideal from a modding perspective.

Which reminds me, i have to do something with mine :p

Much better cable management, all black paint and outside fan speed switches. I would say go for the 300 as it’s a good case for the money or the 902 for all the good stuff as think you would soon regret paying out for a 900.
