Yet again I am an individual resorting to OCUK for advise on what to do. Valentines day is basically upon us and after days of rattling my brain I don't know what to do or get for the other half. Things have been pretty stressful in work for me recently and between that and my car's engine blowing up my head has quite literally been in the shed.

Please people of OCUK give me some ideas. I haven't got a terrible amount of money to spare either because I haven't taken a wage out of the business this month. Yet I still want to do something/get her something that will make her feel special.

Serious answers please and thanks in advance !

Marks and Spencers have a deal on for 20 quid, go check it out:

Bottle of Champagne
2 x Starters
2 x Main Meals
2 x Puddings

might be worth looking into! if your low on cash!

Take her for a good walk (up pretty hills or something, just out of town), with a picnic for the afternoon and be all lame like that.

Then cook her something interesting for dinner! :D (cheap way out of the whole day and should be putty in your hands after a few glasses of cheap bubbly....)

valentines day on a budget. go to a supermarket buy a pack of rolos, take one from the pack then go to customer services in the shop and return the rest of the pack as the one you ate tasted funny, get a refund.

Gift wrap it in a jewellry box and you'll be having some fine dining that evening.

Awesome, that looks pretty good.

Shame the closest M&S to me is 40 miles away, ill take a spin up there Saturday morning though.

get a rose too, i was quite shocked when i saw it :)

Yep, that should do the trick.

I was going to get her a nice bunch of flowers, some chocs and a teddy but it was her birthday on the 2nd and each of those formed part of her presents from me. Forward thinking fail on my part I think.

just be careful they don't sell out fella so get there early like... if all fails i reckon night in some flowers, takeaway and some chick flick (i know :( )

Take her for a walk and if it's cold, do a picnic on the living room floor. Do it complete with tartan banket and a basket if you can, would be very sweet :)
