Spec me an xbox?

I'm thinking about purchasing an xbox as I don't really get to game on my pc (due to the spec) and have a new 42" Plasma that I should be taking advantage of.

Not sure what model xbox I need. Gonna be playing COD5, Forza 2 type games.

I'm not that interested in using it as a midia store as my PC has that covered.

Do I need the HDD to save games or will the onboard memory be OK?

Get a 360 with a 60GB HD. Whether you use it for downloading media matters little as you can install games to the HD, a minimise DVD spin-up/noise in the process.

You could get away with using one of those memory card/stick things but I wouldn't recommend it.

The 120GB is overkill unless your really into your games.

Well worth having a HDD though, some games have features only available with a HDD, (I think you can't watch replays without one in Forza 2 for example) and you'll easily fill the onboard storage up after a while, especially if you decide to get a few arcade titles.
