Limp Bizkit have reformed!

Didn't they reform in the last few years with Wes Borland? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Unquestionable_Truth_(Part_1)#Personnel)

which is one of Limp Bizkits better songs, if you excuse the warbling's of Fred Durst, I love the bassist work from Significant Other. But IMO best track of that album was produced by DJ Premier. (Again, excusing Fred Durst's warbling's)

**another edit** Maybe apart from Re-arrange.

Although, I agree screw Blink 182 (with the exception of the drummer, who aint that bad)

Their last reforming was a real step in the right direction, hopefully the new album will continue that trend. Another one of my childhood favourites are back :D

Their last album was woeful. Really terrible lyrics and Fred sounded like Zack de la Rocha.

I liked Limp Bizkit far more than Rage Against the Machine. I quite liked the message you occationally got from their lyrics. Some were bad, but there was a lot of truth in what Fred said on occation:

Cus it's so easy, to tell a lie
and it's so easy, to run and die
but it's not easy, to be alive
so don't be wasting none of my time

Quite.

I also liked this sort of attutide:

What would you do, if this was the end of the world? (Tell me what would you do?)
What would you do, if this was the end of the world? (Tell me what would you do?)
What would you do, if this was the end of the world? (Tell me what would you do?)
What would you do, if this was the end of it all?

Want me tell you what I'd do? c'mon.

I'd turn it on up (oh yeah?)
And I'd shut it on up (oh yeah?)
And I'd bring that beat back (oh yeah?)
Aight... then bring it on back, go!

Used to make me smile :D

Thats What I mean. If you look at Limp Bizkit, the band is great (excluding Durst and DJ Lethal)

Look at the rhythm section, and also, Wes Borland, is obviously not the greatest guitarest but he atleast very original, Fred Durst is their downfall, with his poor lyrics, and his crazy marketing ideas,

Has anyone seen the vid of him trying to play guitar?

I'll be seeing them at Download Festival this summer! :) Unless they clash with someone I like more. Not a huge fan but would see them for the novelty.

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeet, look forward to this. I love their older albums and they were a huge part of my musical upbringing. Was not a huge fan of the unquestionable truth though.

Can't wait to get Limping with the Bizkit again.

So far the line up is (apart from LB):
Slipknot
Whitesnake
Def Leppard
The Prodigy
Trivium
Dragonforce
Devil Driver
Korn
Pendulum
Motley Crue

Some rubbish in there but much better than this stage last year!

The lineup is shaping up nicely for me, already 8 bands I'd watch from the list and that's 6 and a half bands I've not seen yet! (the half is korn in 2006 with no jon davis). Download looks great for me this year, really cannot wait.

They also intend to begin recording a new album.

I thought they'd already recorded one but Durst was mincing about making crap movies instead of writing the lyrics for it.

They're not bad. I didn't listen to them much, but I'm glad they're reforming.

Blink 182, now LB. All we need now is Red Hot Chili Peppers (please, please, please)!
