Doran, you realise people don't ride like grannies on bike meets and stand around talking about their theoretical 0-60 times?
(unless you go to one full of old BMW riders.)
got the motorbike theory test book, if you or anyone else wants it, not gonna need it again, just let me know and I can post it
Tyre tread depth limits are also different for bikes and cars. A lot of people forget that one.
Well Done DoranGood feeling huh
Back from the test centre - passed!
48/50 in the multiple choice. Pretty sure I got the question wrong about slowing down when you get a puncture. In the practice ones there were options of brake suddenly or brake slowly (and two other silly ones). In this one, it was brake (neither sudden nor soft) or release throttle and roll to a stop. I selected the former. Surely it can't be the latter? No idea what else I got wrong.
As for hazard perception, well, its such a stupid test. I got zero for one question from apparently pressing the buttons too much. The problem, I think, is that you can also spot a hazard so early you dont get any points and the next time you click it you get like 1 or 2.
After I got zero i was in constant state of fear it would happen again. But still, glad I got through it. now to give the test number to bikewize to confirm my practical test on the 9th next month. Come on!
Well done! One stop closer to being disappointed with a CB500![]()
