Who honestly cares what kind of person she is, she is trying to be the best mother for her children in the last moments of her life. milking the press for money, selling her story. yes it's all shameless tabloid guff, but it's what she does and she's doing it for her kids.

Its the question of what kind of person she is that causes the endless debate regarding her illness and the media driven blow by blow account of her plight.
You don't get this sort of debate with Terry Prachett and his alzheimers and the reasons are quite obvious. One has provided a successful series of fantasy books which will be long enjoyed after his passing. The other has made money from being foul mouthed and offered very little to the good of society - she is milking it for all its worth and in some ways more power to her - its not her fault she can earn money from being who she is rather than what she had to offer.
I have no time for Jade Goody. I didn't before she was ill and not now. I'm sorry she is ill and when watching a small part of one the TV shows she is doing as much as she can to fund her childrens future which I say fair enough too. Still doesn't mean I have to change my opinion of her.
To suddenly change your mind about someone because they are ill seems rather two faced and very false.
You could also argue that it is pretty weak to have a go at somebody in such a terrible situation especially when it involves the lives of innocent children.
This is one of those situations where if you haven't got anything good to say you don't say anything, It's Simple Manners.

Or it shows a certain amount of empathy, you don't have to like what she does for publicity or the way that she lives her life but to empathise with someone (and their family) who has a terrible life ending illness is human.
I'm not suggesting you've suddenly got to say that she does great things and is a tremendous boon to society but to imply that she somehow deserves cancer is equally not on, let's face it, she's not a mass murderer or anything sinister that we know of, she's just an annoyingly vacuous celebrity and I'm sorry but that simply isn't reason enough to rejoice in someone having cancer.
Nothing more needs saying tbh, Regardless of what you think of someone you should never kick someone when they are down, its not the done thing.
Ive never really formed an opinion on her tbh as nothing she has ever done has directly effected me, but I wish her well and comfort in what ever form that comes.
Not at all. I've never been a fan of Jane Goody and I haven't changed my mind about her rise to fame. However, she's dyeing and deserves some dignity in her final days, as do we all.
i've never been a fan of Jade Goody and never will be as i damn right hate the women. I even once bumped into her in Tescos in Northampton, although bumped wouldn't quite be appropriate as i heard her from across the store shouting her mouth off.

I didnt like her when she was in BB, she annoyed the HELL out of me 
But since she left, her rise to fame has been pure quality and infact, very amusing, shes a really nice women and my perspective changed as she grew less annoying and ever more popular.
Shame this is happening, this isnt ever a good thing.
Im glad shes getting married and enjoying her last days the day she should with someone who loves her!

I don't mind admitting that I have no time for the "celebrity" persona that is Jade Goody - famous for nothing more than being famous.
However my heart absolutely goes out to the poor frightened young mother who has over the past few months been dealt a devastating blow in learning that she cannot escape a painful early death from this terrible, terrible disease.
To compound things for her she knows that she will be leaving behind two very young children who will have to grow up without their beloved mother and I think she is incredibly brave letting a film crew follow her around to record her life in its last few months in order to put money in the bank for her kiddies future.
Amazing woman who I've learnt to have a lot of respect for in the last few weeks.

i still think she is a racist plonker. but i can understand why she is selling everything to the papers in order to get enough money in the bank to give her children a life that she clearly didn't have and won't.
i dislike her as a person, i commend her as a mother.
Like a lot of people, I've not been overly keen on her over the years, some of the stuff she has done, and how she acts etc.. is a sure fire way to make someone dislike you, but at the end of the day, she's been told (On Friday 13th of all days) that she has a few months, at best to live after going through a very hefty attempted recovery from cancer.
To be fair, she might not have "contributed" a lot to society, but nor have a lot of people who die every day and gain empathy from thier peers. I do feel genuinely sorry for her and hope her final days can be as bright and dignified as they can possibly be, I wouldn't go as far to say "no one deserves this" but she's never harmed anyone, not killed anyone, she's just been an anoying z list celebrity, like so many in the past and so many more to come, she doesn't deserve this, she blatantly values her kid slives more than her own, which is why she is doing everything she can now, to make sure they can have the lives she wants them to have.
