Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

There are so many buttons to configure. Its not jus LP/MP/HP/LK/MK/HK, there were quite a few others.

Not sure what game your playing. But on my default settings

square = LP
triangle = MP
R1 = HP
cross = LK
circle = MK
R2 = HK

then L1 ( all the punches ) and L2 ( all the kicks )

The only other thing is if you want to throw LP + LK. And focus attacks which are MP + MK

pretty easy if you ask me

hi there, well you have been playing it much more then me :p I only had a mess around for an hour in total and in button config, I noticed apart from the standard punch and kick buttons, there was also throw, all punches, all kicks, and also focus attack, which can all be set to 1 button I think?

Thats 10 buttons in total if you want to set everything, that's all I meant. Mind you it is easy to pull off most the special and ultra moves which is good.

Robert, I know you're trying to gain interest in the tournament but the thread is on the main page so you shouldn't really be spamming this one with invites (I know it's only been 4 posts so far). Anyone interested in SFIV is bound to see the 2 threads next to each other.

I have always loved fighting games but have never seen bought a stick before. What should I be getting for my 'first stick'? I always used to play better on my psone controller as apposed to in an arcade!

I will be playing on the xbox.

Cancelled my pre-order of this, money issues and unfortunatley none of my friends have an interesting in playing let alone buying this and i'm not a big fan of online play in these kind of games :( Shame, hopefully might be a demo about at some point that might convince my friends otherwise.

Street Fighter IV Sold Out in Japan
February 13, 2009 s-kill

The numbers being quoted some places are off based on what I've been told, but the real story is that SFIV is not "selling well" but is in fact SOLD OUT in Japan.

There ARE no more copies to sell on the store shelves. I heard from Ono-san himself last night that Capcom has a few boxes left in the basement that they'll be sending out on Monday, but they were totally overwhelmed by the demand. Sales couldn't have been any higher because every single copy in the stores has been sold (!!!)

PS- Big ups to everyone that came out to the mind-blowing party last night--more on that soon!

Unless Capcom only had a piddly amount of copies for Japan (unlikely as they launched first on Tuesday and are the "home" market) this is pretty impressive.

It's rare a game is sold out on release on 360 or PS3 on release.

Theyre all heathens!

Still in two minds of whether to buy this. I haven't played Street Fighter since the days of my megadrive, i was hoping that SSIIHDTR or whatever its called would be a nice cheap reminder of what the game was like, but nay it still hasn't hit the EU PSN. £29 for a game i'm not even sure i'll like.

Having second thoughts on my pre-order - expected most of my game time to be online and what Ive heard seems to point to poor netcode setup...

Tell me Im wrong...

EDIT: WTF Streeteh :eek:

ps3ud0 :cool:

Well if anyones got a valid preorder on bits and are thinking of cancelling, would be a good idea to offer em up here if the mods allow this.
Sticks especially, would be a shame if the preorder was lost, some of them were at good prices too.
