Indeed. It's always sad to see someone so young to die so pointlessly.

Complete opposite I'm afraid. Max Clifford (I hate that bloke) & the tabloid press is going to milk this for all its worth. Shame really that they have to resort to this for news. The poor girl & her family dont deserve this. I heard on the radio earlier today Jade & her partner are to marry. Good luck to them, I hope they will be happy in the short time they will be married.
 
No i don't give a toss about Jade Goody. I've never met her but if we met i feel i would not like her.

Her kids on the other hand have my sympathies.
 
I think some of you are missing the point, Jade want's media attention to raise awareness and money for her kids.

I think she's done really well and i imagine she as saved a few lives as well by being so open which as encouraged more women to have smears.

I take my hat off to her.
 
I dont understand why she gets so much media attention but thats irrelevant, the poor woman is going to be dead in a few months which is terrible, I feel for her and her family
 
A non-entity made famous for being a non-entity but has entertained the public in recent years for being a chav, a slobiish afternoon TV presenter, a racist and a general all round undiserable human being.

The cancer "ticket" is not about what you have done in life, you could say she is more like a normal person in Britain rather than this PR sculptured celebrity, her biggest downfall was going back into Big Brother but she is far grounded than many celebrities that are classed of having a talent.
 
I watched my aunt die from cancer (after getting it for the third time) and its something you wouldn't wish on your worst enemy.

Just watching her lose her bodyweight inside weeks and knowing what she was to what she became really shook me up, her last days were spent in a hospice and anything she tried to eat or drink used to come back up on her within minutes coloured black.

Jade needs to make the best of the time she has when shes still active, if its anything like what my aunt went through it'll tear through her pretty fast. :(

I'm not too bothered about overlooking the case, she already has more than most to leave to her kids, Cancer is an awful illness - believe me , I know - I'd have a bit more time if Jade was devoting her time towards the Cancer cause as a whole rather than cashing in for what I'd hope to be the already well taken care for kids.

She deserves to die with dignity, but I doubt that she will, dignity is not a word I'd associate with her.

Harsh? perhaps, but, for me to suddenly decide as she's about to die, I should like her & feel for her is something that I cannot honestly say or do.
 
I really disliked her when she was on the TV initially, i really dislike the way she became famous for basically nothing.

Doesnt change the fact its a 27 year old bringing awareness for cervical cancer, nobody deserves to die at 27, except for certain criminals!
 
Up until the Poppadum (sp!) episode Jade was a very successful famous business woman and appearing on TV and magazines daily.
Her perfume was flying off the shelves and believe it or not she was a role model for hundreds of thousands in this country.
The 3 women in my house read her book and said it was a fantastic read so she must have been doing something right.
After the Poppadum episode, which was completely blown out of proportion in this country, she still survived.
India invited her over many times because they could see that she wasn't racist and she did very well over there too.
To say she has done 'nothing' is a complete fallacy.

Exactly - Many of you would be surprised about the number of young women who are put off by the screening process. If the publicity makes these women go through the process and lives are saved, then her traumatic experience has not been in vane.
