Do you drive/like big cars too....?
People choose a dog to suit their lifestyle/house size. To do otherwise is irresponsible. :(

i prefer driving big cars, but thats only cause i feel safer in them.
we had a meastro then a fiesta for your 1st st bernard, then the fiesta and then vectra for our 2nd.
when 2nd died we got an alsation, and then an other st B, both in the vectra.
and then a honda concerto/ford escort as 2nd cars again both dogs would go in.
Our house, is average in size i recon, maybe tad on small size. 3bed, bath, kitchen, lounge with "dinning recess" (as my mum calls it) and your average garden.
Only decent thing is we are like 5mins walk from arthu seat (well the meadowfield/duddingston park side of it) but stopped taking them up there a long time a go due to the scaffyness and neds etc and 10mins from an other park. With the beach and nicer parks just 10mins away in the car.
But i recon in edinburgh one cant be more than 10mins away from a peice of park

I walk (or hubby walks on his days off) ASBO for at least an hour every morning although he's classed as a small breed. JRTs are working dogs and very intelligent so he needs exercise every day. My point was, not everyone has the time to provide the exercise a dog needs. We've found the only way to really tire him out is to take him somewhere where he can swim. He's rather swim than walk, hence our holidays are now in the Lake District.....we'll be there in 2 weeks time.
