I have tried to put some hard stills up in the past and got whinged at for being too obscure, even though someone always got it from whichever stills I chose.
It's a fine balance
I personally don't mind if they're really hard, although ones from obscure asian cinema are a little awkward they often get guessed anyway. It's also possible to start screenshots hard and then make them get gradually easier, which is the best thing to do IMO. How I've always done it.
As for the Twelve Monkeys screen, I would have gotten that as I watched it yesterday, but I was too busy sleeping. Not got a clue on Kawolski's screen so I'll guess:
