some of you guys might remember me asking here about which console to go for , x360 or ps3 - primarily for fighting games.

At the time x360 came out on top away from my original descision of the ps3.

However i went for the PS3!!! and am now eagerly awaiting its deliverly with Street Fighter IV !

Are there anyother games i should be looking at which show off the PS3??
 
Valkyria Chronicles - Very under rated. One of the best ps3 games out imo. Came out at the worse time ever along with all the other big releases.
Uncharted: Drake's Fortune - One of earlier ps3 games and is definitely worth playing before the new one arrives.
Metal Gear Solid 4 - One of the best games. Does not need explaining.
Little Big Planet - Such a fun game to play.
Resistance 2 - Fairly good sp with a good mp to boot.
Wipeout HD - Good old Wipeout with great graphics and mp.
Motorstorm Pacific Rift - Again, very under rated. Not bad sp but mp is where it shines.

All fantastic games imo :)

Definately. Playing Valkyria Chronicles at this very second actually. Fantastic game.

Only if you played the first three imo, otherwise you miss out on too much and ruin the story for yourself.

Can't comment on the rest.
 
Pre-order Killzone 2 :D
Oh and purchase Flower off PSN, shows off the motion control very well and is just an awesome game.

Like the look of god of war 3 - us there something out on the ps3 now, which is similar.

Also how good is littlebigplanet? Is it like the sims??
 
Looking forward to killzone 2. Enjoyed the demo and it's one of the reasons I haven't sold my ps3 yet. That along with drake 2 and gow3
 
yea littlebigplanet and sims are pretty much nothing like each other in any way lol :D

i would describe LBP as a platformer full of charm with a strong emphasis on multiplayer, customisation and user generated content. definitely nothing like it out there :)

and games like gow3 currently available are devil may cry 4, heavenly sword and ninja gaiden sigma. bayonetta also looks promising though that is not out yet.

Tekken 5 Dark Resurrection: Online is a very good upscaled port of Tekken 5 from PSP/PS2 that can be bought on Playstation Store (not sure on price).
