If interiors etc etc are not important to you - great - save a packet of cash and get an older S2000. The S2000 represents shocking value at the upper prices but great value at the lower prices.
What does she do out of interest? I cant imagine an area bad enough that a focus would be noticeable!
its not that its noticeable, just that they are ****heads.
shes a community nursery nurse, goes out to at risk children to try and help parents be better parents![]()
I agree that the interior looks a little dated, but I think the 04 facelift is a marked improvement both internally and externally. The aluminium radio cover and leather console trim goes a long way improve the looks. The interior might be sparse but all controls are at your fingertips. But let's face it, the S2000 is not a car you would buy for it's extensive in car option list.

Yeah, i'd be getting into a banger (or tbh, just leaving the focus damaged so that it doesnt matter any more)
Handling, brakes, reliability to name a few.As for the S2000.. surely its main selling point is the engine? everything else is just.. well.. packaging.

All of which could also be said of the MX5 / RX-8 and similar, granted the S2k feels a little more raw, in a good way of course.. which brings me back to the engine being its biggest selling point.
Given the choice between a 350z and an S2k i'd choose the honda.
