FA Cup 5th Round *SPOILERS*

Good result, I feel entertained and I can't really complain at anything. Where on earth does Eboue fit in, even with a very weakened midfield like that :/

Great to see Eduardo back and scoring. Good performance against a very flat Cardiff who in all honesty shouldn't be in the FA Cup.

Vela looked good on the left. Hopefully this will push Eboue back to where he should be in the squad, backup RB. Bischoff PI looked good when he came on.

Never good to see Arsenal win (:D) but good to see Eduardo seems to have fully recovered from that horrible injury :)

I'm pleased for him.

Fantastic to see him play and score, but you all do know Wenger will bench him once Ade is fit, unfortunately. THe thing is, again, we have attacking fullbacks, attacking wingers, midfielders(Denilson IS a attacking mid, Song started his career as a striker). Every game we ditch Ade and play a proper small fast great finisher with a proper support striker we look phenomenal. Everytime we play a non interested, can't hit an open goal moron like Adebayor the whole team plays worse. Its literally every game we play with this formation we are ridiculously better.

Even Bendtner/RVP doesn't work too well with Bendther further forwards, its not his position, he was playing the more withdrawn role late in the game with RVP ahead of him, RVP is better in that forward role when those two play and Bendtner set up one, almost set up another and was heavily involved all game.

TO have a go at him for missing what was a very close rebound on his wrong foot, considering he bossed the game tonight is pathetic of ARsenal fans. When he was moved to the right wing, then withdrawn striker, he was clearing corners, winning the ball back in midfield, playing it out of defence, running it up the field, in the dying seconds, 91 minutes in having played across the pitch he ran half the length of the pitch full speed into the corner and almost set up another. No one has ever seen Ade do that, ever. Throughout the game balls knocked up to him were won, he scored one headed goal, almost another, won most of the headed challenges, the ones Adebayor backs away from all through games, he knocked it on smartly, put people through.

I'm not saying he has got a world class touch, though he very VERY rarely plays the position he played today. But the entire squad plays better with two strikers who run into the box, pull apart defences and leave gaps for others. It was fantastic to watch. Sagna, and Gibbs got on the overlap and knocked balls in, we almost scored from Sagna's, scored from the other, we never run the overlap with Ade, why, he'll never run into the box in the same way. WE were the multidimensional all out attack that Arsenal need. We hit on the break, from the wings, through the middle, Vela/Nasri, Bendtner were all over the pitch doing great work.

UNfortunately, with everyone else linking up well it just highlighted how utterly useless Song's passing is, his insistance on being the wrong side of the player and how happy he is to conceded needless freekicks from behind which in a premiership game will turn into yellow's, and conceded goals.

We really have to get back to full time having Eduardo/Theo/Vela as the furthest forward striker, we're a different team when we do, a good team.

Great to see Eduardo back and scoring, will do his confidence a world of good. Just under a year since he suffered that horrific injury. Most of the physical work is done for him, it now more in his head. I'm sure after he has been on the end of a few challenges it will have him feeling much better because that is where

Only caught the last 25 minutes and we are only playing a championship side so shouldn't read too much into it. Ignoring the results (which also haven't been good enough) but our performances this season have really been dire, we had so much energy and movement last season but this season it has been quite a dull affair. You feel as well the club has been on a downer for most of the season but with Arshavin signing and Eduardo now back morale should hopefully have picked up. Theo and most importantly Fabregas due back within the next month so the cavalry is on it's way so to speak. We have got ourselves in such a bad position between now and the end of the season we have to win the vast majority of our matches just to get 4th place but I'm confident this team still has one last push remaining.

How good is RvP looking right now? Just hope he can finish this season without getting injured (touch wood) and hopefully he can push on from there. Really has been carrying us last few months.

the problem is tbh that the cavalry isn't needed and hasn't been all year. We've had strikers ALL year long, loads of them, Theo is still rather crap on the wing he's smaller than both Vela and Eduardo and really is a striker. Today we played VEla, who we've had all season and has looked good from the first preseason game, Nasri whose been in and out with injurys. We've had wingers, and not played them, we've had strikers, and stuck by the useless lazy hopeless moron upfront. THe problem is all our players to come back, aren't coming back in the DM position we so so so so desparately need.

Wengers always been a little girl about dropping so called big players. He's killed our year sticking by a moron, spent money on the positions we have a wealth of talent and ignored our one key failing. There was one, literally one position on the pitch we have no cover for and looked completely out of depth, against a championship side we dominated.

I've pointed out before that, as of a game or two ago we'd scored 2 less than man u and conceded 25 to there 10. Its not difficult to see scoring is not an issue, and the complete lack of cover (defensively) from midfield is killing us.

RVP has been carrying the squad, massively, but mostly because we've been playing the wrong squad. The thing of it is, people will talk about Vela/Nasri being untested, well in their various years in their leagues both have started far more top league games than Song/Denilson and possibly even Diaby have. But the thing of it is, RVP is more a goal maker than scorer, he's been getting assists left right and centre. With Bendtner, Eddie and Vela around him, even Theo he'll simply have more to work with aswell.

I've said since day one of preseason, we had the squad to compete for the title this year, but it was clear from day one that Wenger was going to ignore our real talent, play it in the wrong position if he does play them, and stick with Adebayor, Denilson and Song.

Not selling Ade was a huge mistake as it would have removed the crux Wenger leans back on(which is madness, as it never works at all?) and made us a bundle on a crap player. He's now unsellable, completely crap and no one wanted to beat his 40k a week wages last year when people thought he was worth 20mil plus, when they want to buy him for 5mil this year, you think anyones going to break his new 80k contract? hell no, we're stuck with him till his contracts up, whoopee.

Like most very pleased for Ed, and to get two goals was fantastic. Shining example of a player and hopefully he can become the player that we saw before his accident.

Ade hopefully will take a long hard look at himself and pull his head out of where the sun doesnt shine and realise that if he does want to move then he better start performing.

I am also glad to see vela getting a chance as I have always liked him as a player since we signed him.

Lets hope that they can build on this win and salvage some of our season.

Good win for Arsenal but that in no way shape or form shows what Ed will be capable of in the EPL - glad to see him back, but one game against Championship opponants is all it was (just as much as Utd's was against Derby)

Anyone know why the majority of 5th Round replays are off (due to be played next Tuesday)?
