If it's the one i'm thinking of, i have just recieved an email from them advertising the pads and fighting sticks are still available on preorder :confused::eek:. Just sent them an email asking them if they are able to get my TE stick to me for Friday (ordered on the 11th). I just can't see them been able to fulfil all the preorders since by the looks of it they are still accepting them

I'd bet on there being another batch, madcatz are exactly the type of company to try and get as much money as possible out of this popularity.

I've had SMS confirmation that my TE is on its way, the CE game is still on "Processing". Kinda funny that the last place I pre-ordered from on the 12th of February was the one that came up with the goods.

I'm a bit gutted in a way because I only booked Friday off. :(

FWIW I've heard conflicting reports about whether "the Jersey shop" has actually got stock or not. :(

I've just managed to snap up the TE from one of the more popular and reliable websites. Hopefully this will go through. I'm DYING for it to go through!
 
Hmm, i wonder how my X-Arcade Stick and X-FPS Pro will do with this, should be ideal :) Not to mention my copy of the game has arrived and is sitting on my bed waiting for me :) Shame i only have an hour max before i have to go out tonight :(

I preordered the game on 29/01/09 from ****. My order is still showing as a preorder and I have had no email from them yet. If I don't get mine on thursday I will be furiousssss
 
I'd stay away from any of the Mad Catz Sticks (not pads) except for the Tournament edition (the expensive one).

The cheaper version has had a lot of negative feedback on the street Fighter forums like shoryuken.com.

And if you really need to get a stick and can't get the uber expensive one, try to get a Hori Real Arcade Pro (HRAP) stick for the 360 or PS3 althoug hyou will pay around the £100 mark, but the stick is pure quality and will last you a lifetime....

I'm sticking with my order on the offchance I'll get an 'ok' one. Having said that I'll be quite happy to take it up with Mad Catz if it's defective. Done a lot of reading on shoryuken and rebuilt the controls for my arcade machine so I feel competent to check the innards if its duff.
 
This other order better come through for me now. :p I still can't believe they are going to make me wait to Thursday to 100% confirm whether I have one or not! Madcatz still supposedly has stock of the TE so the fact I had the chance to order one will annoy me a teeny weenie bit if the order doesn't materialise!
 
well i managed to get the 360 version today even tho i have the ps3 collectors edition on pre order :p

do you guys think its going to be worth my while keeping the collectors edition in its shrinkwrap in the hope that one day it could be worth a few quid unopened? :confused:

They must have made thousands of the collectors edition so you would probably have to keep it for ages (decades, maybe centuries) to get any sort of profit from it. :p
