Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

they should have some proper street fighting moves in this game by now though.

You should at least have POKE TO THE EYE and KICK IN THE NUTS!

You don't really see a street fight late of a friday night with two guys shouting HADOUKEN and SHORYUKEN at each other do you?

:)

How about having a chavvy character in it as well? Burberry Bill or something. special moves could be a chib to the face and steak knife to the leg or whatever.
Instead of thowing a fireball he could try to stab you with a syringe, while shouting "INJECTED WITH THE POISON"

For the background, you could have your local dark allyway where the police can't see you drinking and smoking pot, with all the skanky birds jumping up and down like Chun-Li

It's only the £60 'basic' model that is having problems, the components within it are largely manufactured by madcatz. The £100+ TE stick is constructed by madcatz but the components are made by well respected arcade unit manufacturers and so it is more likely to be reliable.

Its only the cheaper one that sucks, still, the cheaper one is more expensive than the bog standard Hori stick but it seems not as good.

That's not strictly true...at least 10% of the people that posted on the shoryuken forums are having trouble with the TE from dodgy sticks, to bad quality control. and most have scratched units.

If only I lived in the US I'd defo get one of these. (Supplier - Capcom)

Nabbed me one too, shame they aint got the HRAPs in would be tempted, lookin on the auction site theres yank sellers on there charges nigh on £300 whats the rrp on the HRAPs anyone know?

For me the biggest issue is them saying the sticks are so cusomisable, we even make them easy to open, wee look what you can do!

But no warranty for ya! :p

£160 for a joystick! You guys must be insane. That's the cost of a 360 or Wii. I think people here have been well and truly caught up in the hype.

Agreed. I thought I was a big SF fan but no way on earth would I even think about spending over £100 on an arcade stick! The control pad works just fine for me :p

God i love this game, ive gone back in time to when i played SFII in the arcades for hours on end......but sweet baby jesus and the orphans, the 360 pad is ******* crap!

I use to think that when I tried playing SF2 back when I had a 360. However I've played SF4 on the 360 with the controller and I think its actually quite good. I'm finding the moves are all easy to pull off when needed until your hands start aching. :D

Probably and on the PC everyone will just assign combos to macros. When is the actual release date for the PC version though? I heard that it was roughly sometime in May.
