Do any opticians offer free eye tests?

Sitting 3 feet from my monitor atm and finding it hard to make out normal sized text.

Over the last year I have noticed my vision deteriorating and I have had glasses before but was told I no longer needed them by my optician.

Should have really got this out of the way whilst I was still in a job as they would have paid for the test and 100 quid towards glasses if neccessary.

Any ideas guys and gals?

None that do a free one as far as I am aware, maybe worth trying local ones to see though.

Although I think an eye test is only £14 anyway, although if your not working you may get it for free.

You not working in B&Q, its only a few pound. Just pay it and get your eyes sorted

Your employer if you spend all day in front of a screen and if there is glaucoma in your close family.
