Off to see a wedding videographer later. Any tips/questions/things should be looking for or asking?

Have seen the demo videos, off to see her in person to see a completed dvd. Can't think of anything else?

Offers, what do you get for the money.

Picture sizes
Pictures on CD?
Do you own the photos after the wedding
Type of album
How many photos in the album
How much for the prints you dont put in the album
What camera are they using
can others take pics
have they got a list of 'to do' photos you can look at / add too.
How long from weding day to seeing the photos
Have they been to said church/office before.

Thats all i can think of that we, as wedding photographers get asked a lot.

I'm a wedding videographer. Some questions might be:

What style do they film in
What equipment do they have
How will they capture the audio (related to above)
Where will they be positioned in the church
How many cameras will be used
How long will it take to edit and compile
What happens if you want amends
If they pay for the wedding video music license
If you can choose your own music
If they offer highlights or any extras

Without seeing the company's basics there's a ton of other basics.

Out of interest, where's the wedding? We're Bristol based but cover the whole of the UK (have a wedding in Leicestershire this year) so if you wanted to look at some competition or an alternative then give me a shout! :)

Also if you could provide more details about the company in question or link me to their sample then I could give you some more feedback.

Thanks for the help. Went to visit and booked.

Very impressed with the examples she showed us both, very happy with the booking.

Sorry rghjones, just got back and read your post, too late sorry. Wouldn't have been far from you either, wedding is in Blackwood, South Wales.

Multiple camera angles are better, especially when the couple are taking their vows.

No problem! If you ever change your mind, just give me a shout!

How many camera operators do they use? It seems like one from the website (Louise) but it's hard to tell. If this is the case then big mistake!

She has 3 cameras, and has another operator. So 1 stationary, then one each mobile for different angles.

Does make a big difference doesn't it having different angles.
